Whistleblower legal representation

Hill & Associates Qui Tam (Whistleblower) Lawyers

Qui Tam Law experts

Whistleblower lawsuits and reward claims are complex and competitive. In fact, the various Federal government agencies receive as many as 1000 reports for each one that they have the resources to fully prosecute. As a result, your case must stand out to be selected as that one. Hill & Associates partners exclusively with Katers & Granitz, LLC, a law firm based out of Wisconsin, in order to maximize your chances of being selected. Combined, our law firms have recovered over $16 billion for whistleblowers.

Bryen Hill is a member of Taxpayers Against Fraud (TAF), a highly select national group of attorneys that only represent whistleblowers in matters around the country.

While government "tip lines" receive reports, to qualify for a whistleblower cash reward, the process is somewhat more complex, particularly if the person reporting fraud wants their identify to be confidential and their job protected. Our lawyers, investigators, and experts are experienced with:

  • Federal False Claims Act whistleblower claims and lawsuits;
  • State False Claims Act fraud reporting and reward claims;
  • Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) whistleblower laws; and
  • Internal Revenue Service (IRS) whistleblower claims

Billions have been recovered for U.S. taxpayers due to the actions of whistleblowers. Those whistleblowers have been rewarded in the hundreds of millions of dollars for reporting:

  • Medicare and other Healthcare fraud;
  • Federal and State government contract fraud;
  • Financial, Insurance and Bank fraud; and
  • IRS or State Tax Fraud and SEC corporate fraud.

Award amounts vary with each program, but a whistleblower is generally awarded between 10-30% of amounts recovered. This means, for example, if you are a doctor and report a healthcare chain for double billing or upcoding Medicare claims over several years, the recovery can be more than $100 million and a reward could be in the $10 million - $30 million range.
